The prawn catchers

When I bought the 32 Bayliner we took the Livingston dinghy off and installed the Zodiac type dinghy with the 9.9 outboard we had from our previous boat with the "quick launch system" I put together.

The Livingston dinghy was in the garden since that time and I always had the idea to use it here at our beach access which is only 100 m away.
End of September I had the courage to clean and update that dinghy with new oar holders a back plate for the outboard and as I got a used little 4 hp outboard last year I installed it.
In order to get it down to the beach I installed two legs with tires that I can flip up or down.

Once all this done, Patrick and I brought it down at the beach and went out with the prawn trap and my handheld GPS in order to retrieve our spot where we launched the trap.
Next day we went out and found our trap with :

prawns and a kind of sea spiders that have the same tail as the prawns but are smaller and have very long pincher's.

and as the manual hauling was too hard I took the garden tractor and pulled the dinghy back home.

The appetizers we had for dinner where delicious !!!
